Heart Evangelista's Letter for her Tanging Ina Family

Last night, "Ang Tanging Ina Mo Last Na 'To" held its red carpet premier in SM Megamall (pics to follow) and it was nostalgic! It was nice to see them all together again plus more with Papa P (Piolo Pascual) being the special date of Ai Ai.

I only have a handful of favorite movies... but this will definitely make the cut! It is indeed a movie for the whole family like what their promo conveys. Every family member is given an angle in the story that all of us can relate to.

For this 3rd installment, Star Cinema was able to gather all the kids of Ai Ai's character, Ina Montecillo, for one last time, except for one - Heart Evangelista who plays the fourth child, "Por". Serena Dalrymple and Mark Acueza who hasn't been so visible in showbiz and Yuki Kaduka who's now based in Japan were able to join the bunch to complete the family.

Many felt sad and some felt that it was a missed opportunity for Heart.

I'm sure she feels 'nanghihinayang' especially after hearing the reviews and comments of the people who's seen it last night. It's hilarious, fun and worth our time & money, sad that Heart wasn't a part of this sure blockbuster hit! After December 25, Heart may (or may not) feel the loss.

However, I'm sure she wanted to be a part of this as much as everyone, but things just didn't work out, so let's not take it against anyone :)

To show gratitude, Heart sent a letter to the cast, her Tanging Ina family.

My dear Tanging Ina fam and tita Ai,

Thank you so much for the chance to be with old co-workers and friends and also be part of the movie with that special role :)  I am deeply sorry for the outcome and I just wanted to let you all know that  I really was looking forward to be 'Por' even for a day :)

God Bless and i miss you all

- Heart Evangelista

In all fairness to Heart, this was a really nice gesture.

You were missed! It would've really been nice to see you in the movie.

My Amnesia Girl: The 'Salvage' Becomes The Savior

Kanina ay ginanap sa ABS-CBN Main Bldg. ang victory party ng My Amnesia Girl. Present at the dinner is the whole cast, crew and everyone else who supported and was involved in the success of this film.

Everyone involved in the film from the crew to the writers to the producers to the artists were called up front and only had great things to say about their experience. Each one of them was thankful for being part of this project.

Of course the last ones to be called were the 2 leads, John Lloyd and Toni G. First to speak was Toni who seemed very overwhelmed by the success and blessings that swiftly came her way. She mentioned before and mentioned it again tonight that she never felt that she deserved to be paired with John Lloyd. She thought that she needed to work harder or in her words “marami pa kong kakaining bigas” to be paired with JL, but this stroke of luck came along. ‘Grateful’ seems like an understatement to describe what Toni feels. Of course, considering this is a new tandem and both of them have their respective off-screen partners it was definitely a big risk to pull such stunt. But apparently people accepted this new ‘love team’ with an open mind. Was it out of curiosity? Is it because both of the leads have a huge following? Is it because people love their individual brand of comedy? Perhaps all of the above. Everything just worked. There is even a big chance that Toni G. could hold the next “Box Office Queen” title which wouldn’t come as a shock I have to say!

After the two leads spoke, Ms. Charo Santos made a surprise appearance and congratulated them personally which everyone in the room appreciated.

My Amnesia Girl was an unplanned SUCCESS. A ‘salvage’ to a project that was highly anticipated (especially by Toni) but unfortunately didn’t push through. You see, everything really happens for a reason!!! The salvage became the savior… who would’ve thought?

Congratulations to Toni G. for giving her 110% and showing her more adventurous side and to John Lloyd Cruz, who never fails to deliver and bring out the best in his on-screen partners. John Lloyd has shown us all the true meaning of being a ’versatile’ actor.

My Amnesia Girl is now on its 3rd week, so for those of you who haven’t seen it you still can in many theaters nationwide!

Below is the full video of their speech. Plus Mam Charo's surprise appearance!

DALAW: Does it come in three's?

For the sake of her son, Paolo, Stella is re-married to another man, Anton, in the hopes of a having a whole and peaceful family life. However, after the wedding, she experiences major haunting that endangers her life and the people around her. All the clues are pointing to her dead husband. Feeling guilty of her ex-husband’s death, Stella tries to save her family from the ghost’s wrath. Along the way, secrets start to unravel and Stella is now unsure of who is haunting her and why she is being haunted.

Starring the queen of horror, Kris Aquino and directed by Dondon Santos, Dalaw is one of Star Cinema’s official entries at the Metro Manila Film Festival 2010.

Also starring are Diether Ocampo, Karylle, Empress, Alessandra de Rossi, Ina Feleo, Susan Africa, Maliksi Morales and Ms. Gina PareƱo.

So these are teasers and synopsis of 'DALAW', another horror led by Kris Aquino. From Sukob to Feng Sui, this will be her third horror flick. Will this be the 'third' of her streak of successes in this genre?

Let's all watch out on December 25.
