Last night, "Ang Tanging Ina Mo Last Na 'To" held its red carpet premier in SM Megamall (pics to follow) and it was nostalgic! It was nice to see them all together again plus more with Papa P (Piolo Pascual) being the special date of Ai Ai.I only have a handful of favorite movies... but this will definitely make the cut! It is indeed a movie for the whole family like what their promo conveys. Every family member is given an angle in the story that all of us can relate to.
For this 3rd installment, Star Cinema was able to gather all the kids of Ai Ai's character, Ina Montecillo, for one last time, except for one - Heart Evangelista who plays the fourth child, "Por". Serena Dalrymple and Mark Acueza who hasn't been so visible in showbiz and Yuki Kaduka who's now based in Japan were able to join the bunch to complete the family.
Many felt sad and some felt that it was a missed opportunity for Heart.
I'm sure she feels 'nanghihinayang' especially after hearing the reviews and comments of the people who's seen it last night. It's hilarious, fun and worth our time & money, sad that Heart wasn't a part of this sure blockbuster hit! After December 25, Heart may (or may not) feel the loss.
However, I'm sure she wanted to be a part of this as much as everyone, but things just didn't work out, so let's not take it against anyone :)
To show gratitude, Heart sent a letter to the cast, her Tanging Ina family.
Thank you so much for the chance to be with old co-workers and friends and also be part of the movie with that special role :) I am deeply sorry for the outcome and I just wanted to let you all know that I really was looking forward to be 'Por' even for a day :)
