Kaloka! Dapat maaga kayo bumili ng tickets dahil kagabi, nag attempt ako manood e waley na. gusto ko sana mapanood ulit with my friends pero napahiya lang ang beauty ko sa kanila kaya try na lang ulit kami tonight… J

The Sidelights at the Premiere of Bulong: What You Want To See!

Given na that the movie Bulong was the highlight of the event, pero of course in every big event, meron din big sidelights and scene stealers that we sure wouldn’t miss capturing!

Last night turned out to be a couple’s night… Love is definitely in the air this Feb. ha?! Dami nang nagdedate-date at huling huli ng mychos spy cam kung sino-sino sila….

Most of the biggest kapamilya celebrities were present to support the movie and probably have a date night? I don’t know. All I know is, ang daming artista kagabi at damang-dama ko na ang Valentines!

Vhong ang Angelica's "Bulong" Red Carpet Premiere

Taking care of some promotional duties, Vhong Navarro and Angelica Panganiban were spotted last night in SM Megamall Cinema 10 for the premiere of “Bulong”.

Also in the big event were fellow stars, Bangs Garcia, Teddy and Jon Avila.

The movie leans on a certain folklore belief that your wish can come true when you whisper it to a dead person. Therefore here is a movie that tells you to ‘Be careful with what you wish for…You might just get…More than what you ask for’. It is directed by master storyteller Chito S. Roño who gave us horror gems Feng Shui, Sukob and T2.

"Bulong" - Ang Unang Pelikula ng Star Cinema sa Taong 2011

Filipinos believe that whispering to the ears of the dead will make your wish come true. Conan (Vhong Navarro) tries this mantra, being desperate for Ellen’s love. He whispers to a dead lady his heartache—how he wishes Ellen to love him back. After days of waiting, Conan observes that something unusual is happening: Ellen is now noticing him, giving him more than the attention he wants. In fact, Ellen is now obsessed with him, throwing herself at him. This makes Conan uncomfortable and scared.

But Ellen’s giving him special attention is not the only unusual thing Conan notices: something eerie has been happening to him, giving him the chills, especially when he’s alone. At first he tries to disregard it, until he realizes that the spirit haunting him is the spirit of the old lady he whispered his wish to. Conan can’t take the haunting anymore and so he asks for the help of his former best friend Oprah (Angelica Panganiban). Together they travel to the province of Madam Kara, Oprah’s old aunt who is an expert on Black Magic. As they travel together, Conan and Oprah’s feelings for each other awaken. But this makes the haunting worse, and Conan begins to feel guilty as the spirit starts to disturb Oprah too.

When they arrive at Madam Kara’s house, the old lady pities Conan and explains to him the real story: The dead woman was a mangkukulam. Conan is now tasked to complete the unfinished business of the dead mangkukulam before it’s too late. Conan gets more terrified. And as Madam Kara explains what he should do, Conan hesitates. Is it worth going through the trouble to end the haunting?

From the director who gave us Feng Shui and Sukob, Chito Rono is back with another thrill seeker, spine tingling film about true love, selfish wishes, and the horror these all bring.

May sikreto akong ibubulong sa inyo... Naka-nakaw ako ng pics ng shooting ng bagong horror-comedy movie ni Vhong ang BULONG.

So many movies coming soon. I'm glad na buhay na buhay ang Philippine Cinema and I'm glad na masusundan na rin ang "D'Anothers" ng isa na namang horror comedy na si Vhong parin ang bibida.
