I was in the Big Dome last night to watch the ABS-CBN Christmas Special. I had my tickets but wasn't able to use them cause I had work to do backstage (and all the fun & happenings happen there). Although, I was able to catch bits of the show like, the prod number of the new teleserye "Walang Hanggan" which was well applauded especially when the lead star, Coco Martin came on stage.
Two of my favorite performances were from Sarah G. and bossing Vic and Aiai. Sarah Geronimo's performance was AMAZING. I had goosebumps the whole time. In my opinion, she's theee best female performer in the Philippines!!! She can sing well and she can dance well and best part is, she can do both at the same time! GALING TALAGA! She's an artist we need to share with to the world...
Bossing Vic and Aiai's prod was NAKAKATAWA! AS IN!!! Vic Sotto brought the house down, on stage and back stage. Many Kapamilya artists were starstruck by bossing. Lahat sila nagpapicture... Mapa si Gretchen Barretto, Angelica Panganiban, Vice Ganda, John Lloyd Cruz... lahat, starstruck!
The show started at 8:45pm and ended at almost 12mn. All the performances were memorable and were obviously worked hard for. When I was back stage I was in awe by all the beauty and talent that surrounded me, not to mention, the warmth and Christmas spirit the ambiance and environment brought :) Everyone was running here and there, but you can feel the good vibes circulating around the area. Iba talaga ang Kapamilya!
I spoke to one of the handlers and they see this show as their 'graduation'... It's like all the hard work of putting your child to school is done, there it is on stage, the finished product... all the work they (the handlers, artists, organizers, staff etc) put in, the hours, the coordination, is finally over and the show reflects all of their efforts. It was a spectacle =)
