The most recent Youtube sensation that brought Lady Gaga to tears, Maria Aragon, has arrived in her homeland, the Philippines!Maria arrived in Manila at 10pm last night (July 20) with her whole family, minus her father who will follow in August. She granted a few interviews and proceeded to her first ever live guesting and local tv exposure, Music Uplate Live.
On her first live performance, she sang 'Price tag', 'Dynamite' with her brother and her claim-to-fame rendition of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way'.
We could see that she was really excited and happy to be surrounded by her fellow Filipino's.
Last night I found out that besides being very talented, she is also a smart one! :)
Everyone who will get to meet her will instantly be drawn to her... She has this cuteness I can't really describe! Basta, nakakaaliw kasi matalinong bata siya. Marunong sumagot, hindi pa-cute, puro galing siya! I know for a fact that she will make it big, not just here, but all over the world.
Maria is here in the Philippines to do an album under Star Records, so expect to see more of her in the coming weeks in our favorite Kapamilya shows.
She'll be staying here for a pretty long time... I'm quite sure that she'll accomplish, not only an album but also a number of endorsements and (perhaps) a few acting stints?!
