Was in Roxas blvd. yesterday for the Press Con of Jodi and Barbie for their episode 'PAA' in the movie CINCO.
According to Jodi, the episode that she is in portrays the 'classic' horror. "Walang butas, all the way nakakatakot siya..." Jodi explains.
When asked why she's more visible and being very active in showbiz now that she's married and has a kid, all she could answer is "I love doing this so much."
This is the first time she will be doing a horror film and she states that it's a good change, very refreshing daw. She's been very comfortable doing drama (which she does excellently I might add) and stepping out of this comfort zone was a challenge to her but more than it being challenging, she had so much fun doing it.
Director of the episode PAA, Enrico Santos, was unable to join the Press Con cause he was finishing up many things bilang last shooting day na nila kahapon. Jodi was just pulled out of the shoot, to attend to the press but had to go back to finish 1 more sequence.
Playing the daughter of Jodi here is Barbie. Barbie was discovered by direk Bobot in her Tender Juicy Hotdog commercial. Sobrang cute niya! Barbie is a familiar face on TV. She's included in the show Goin' Bulilit, has been visible too in a number of films, she portrayed the young Bea Alonzo in Magkaribal and is also included in the upcoming serye Noah, which includes Piolo and Zaijan.
