After The 'Wedding' Comes The 'Reception'

One of my friends from Star Cinema invited me to the thanksgiving/victory dinner of 'Here Comes The Bride' last night in abs-cbn. It was an intimate affair attended  by the cast (minus Eugene Domingo) and producers of the film.

After dinner the lead cast went up on stage one by one and said their experiences [trivias] making the film. Characters talaga silang lahat, mabuti na lang nag blend sila sa isa't isa kaya maganda ang kinalabasan ng movie. Angelica, initially, was not up for accepting the part dahil nga kakatapos niya pa lang gawin yung 'I Love You Goodbye' nun, pero after reading the script na-convince siya na she should really do it. Si Tuesday naman ay very appreciative at excited dahil napabilang siya sa ensemble.

Here Comes The Bride is a success and a surprise altogether... Finally, a comedy movie that really defines the meaning of 'comedy' - not slapstick.
