Simply KC with Papa Gabby

I went to visit my friend KC Concepcion during her taping for her new morning show, Simply KC. I made sure na today ako bumisita dahil ang guest nya is non other than her Papa, Gabby Concepcion.

I must say that every time these two talk about and reminisce what they've been through in the past, their good and bad memories and how they fell apart and re-connected after 13 years, it never fails to get me emotional. Today didn't disappoint, since eto ang first sit-down interview nila, siyempre napag usapan ang mga nangyari sa kanila in the past and expectedly naging 'emo' nanaman ako, at di lang ako ha, pati yung studio audience ay naluha-luha din. The most striking part of the interview siguro is nung binasa ni KC ang letter na ginawa nya for Gabby a few years ago, dito ay di na napigilan ni KC ang kanyang tears.

Watch the show na lang when it airs on TV next week. It's a very heartfelt episode that, I'm sure, will touch the daughter (even sons) who grew up away from their fathers.
