ONE MORE TRY Synopsis

            GRACE GABRIEL (Angel Locsin) is a loving single mother who would do everything for her son BOTCHOK. All seems well, especially with her boyfriend TRISTAN AGCAOILI (Zanjoe Marudo) supporting her. Nothing can possibly go wrong, except for this rare blood condition that Botchok has been suffering. When his condition becomes more severe, Grace is left with no other choice but to reconnect with the biological father, someone she’s most anxious to meet.

            Grace finds the father. EDWARD MENDOZA (Dingdong Dantes) is an accomplished man married with a more successful power woman JACQUELINE (Angelica Panganiban). All Grace asks from Edward is for him to help her save Botchok, their son. Edward is hesitant at first but Jacq gives him permission. However, such tedious process of curing Botchok starts to taint their happy relationships, for unwanted feelings in the past start to creep in. Until eventually all other options fail… except only for one – Edward & Grace need to have another child to permanently cure Botchok… and they need to do it the natural way.

Jacq, being the feisty protective wife, vehemently objects. Edward, troubled, starts to feel more for his own son. Tristan, in this kind of peculiar situation, doesn’t know where to place himself. Grace, the very devoted mother that she is, becomes more desperate in saving her son and vows to do anything. Until the 4 of them are left with no other choice…

            But Jacq insists that it has to be “under her terms”. Edward, Tristan, and most specially Grace, who are all helpless, oblige. This may be, after all, the best solution…

            …or so they all think. For when all means have failed them, relationships start to crumble. Their intertwined lives get severely affected.

            In this kind of pursuit, who will eventually win – the wife who would go for a kill just to protect and save her faltering marriage with the husband who she feels is starting to love somebody else?... Or the mother who would do everything and anything to save her son even if it means compromising her relationship with the man who truly loves him?
